Bramble Bubbly – Description
Alcohol: 9.9% alc./vol. Size: 750 mL
Bramble Bubbly combines the best of BC cider apples with wild local blackberries. Vancouver Island’s native species is called ‘The Trailing Wild Blackberry,’ a cousin of the Himalayan Blackberry. Bramble Bubbly is produced by milling and juicing our apples, and adding champagne yeast to begin fermentation. Fermentation happens at cool temperatures to maximize the aromatics of the cider base. Finally, blackberries are added to achieve the rose hue and luscious blackberry flavour.
Aromas, flavours: Green apple, orchard leaves, blackberries, confectionery notes.
Acid/sweetness: Tart and balanced with residual sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Sharp yet smooth with minimal tannins, long and viscous finish.
Rumrunner – Barrel Series – Description
Alcohol: 12.5 % alc./vol. Size: 750 mlThe secret to Rumrunner lies in the barrel. Rich, full-bodied and intriguing, Newfoundland Screech barrels were the inspiration for this semi-dry cider, which opens up to reveal complex notes of molasses, apples, and rum. Raise a glass of Sea Cider and let your apples out of the barrel!
Rumrunner cider blends the juice of highly aromatic apples, such as Stayman’s Winesaps and Winter Bananas (all certified organic), so that the apple aromas match the intensity of the oak and rum notes.
Aromas, flavours: Molasses, apple butter, rum.
Acid/sweetness: Semi-dry, good acid balance.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, long finish.
