Based on Negroni, an iconic Italian cocktail, made of gin, Vermouth Rosso and Campari.
In 1947, when Orson Welles tried his first Negroni, he commented, “The bitters are excellent for your liver, the gin is bad for you. They balance each other.” In 2018 after we first replaced gin with beer, we commented “This is a Lager worthy of the last day on Earth!”
