West Coast Ale (IBU 30 / ABV 5.70): Grain – 2 Row, Pilzner and Crystal Medium. Hops – Centennial, Northern Brewer and Cascade. We start with malt color and aroma provided by 2 Row, add German Pilzner malt contributing substantial body and mouthfeel and end with Crystal Medium with its subtle caramel and toffee notes. Centennial hops are then added for specific lemon aroma. Northern Brewer brings in the aroma of evergreen and mint. And Cascade tops it off with its intense floral, citrus and grapefruit tones. Just the right combination to make this beer an all-season favorite and that is why Carlo does his best to keep it on tap all year long. Cheers!
